ACM Conference on International Computing Education Research 2022
The 18th ACM Conference on International Computing Education Research was a hybrid conference: you could participate physically by traveling to beautiful Lugano, Switzerland, or you could participate virtually, by joining us through our conference platform. We started with an informal reception for physical participants in the evening of Sunday, August 7.
All registered participants received an invite for Discord (we used Discord for all bi-directional interaction like coffee, posters, and virtual roundtables) and virtual participants also received an invite for Zoom (we used Zoom for watching the live stream of the talks).
It’s a wrap! – It was great seeing you, virtually or in person, at ICER 2022 on August 7-10 2022. (end date updated – was originally August 11)
Our hybrid conference design was somewhat unique. Read Hybrid > Physical + Virtual by Site Co-Chair Matthias Hauswirth for a look behind the scenes.
