Lindholmen Software Development Day (LSDD) is a yearly event that takes place in Gothenburg. The aims of the event include knowledge sharing in industrial software development, contributing to innovations, facilitating new collaborations, and to strengthen the area of ICT in Sweden.

The event offers cutting edge open seminars and a meeting place for industry, academia and society. At this event you can meet researchers, business developers, employees, entrepreneurs and students in the field of IT. Because of the local industry in Gothenburg, you can expect talks in the theme of Automotive (including self-driving) and Telecommunications (including Internet of Things).

This year LSDD will also host talks by speakers from the ICSE community. Laurie Williams is the cofirmed speaker.

Software Development Day 2018 is the 14th conference of its kind and is growing each year. The 2017 edition of LSDD there had more than 600 participant from 180+ companies and universities. There participants where from 9 different countries mainly within Europe.

The Lindholmen Software Development Day is a collaboration between Ericsson, Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Cybercom, Ascom, Combitech, HiQ, Konwledge Agency, Zenuity, SKF, Business Region Göteborg, Chalmers University of Technologies, University of Gothenburg, and Lindholmen Science Park.
